Mr. Mansour Jobe is a former State Counsel at the Attorney General’s Chambers & Ministry of Justice. He has worked at the Commission of Inquiry (Janneh Commission) as co-counsel, and the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) as Deputy Director of Research and Investigation. Mr. Jobe holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham in The United Kingdom and he is a proud alumni of the Chevening Scholarship. He currently works at the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) as Director of Legal Affairs and Investigation.
Mr. Jobe has expertise and interest in mediation, transitional justice, human rights and rule of law advocacy. He is an executive member of the Gambia Bar Association, Board Member of Fantanka a civil society organization established in 2018 with the objective to close the gap in sexual and reproductive health in The Gambia. Mr. Jobe is also privileged to be one of the technical advisers to Conservation-Litigation a non-governmental organization based in the UK that use law to save biodiversity.
