Ya Amie Touray is a lawyer specialized in Utilities Regulation and ICT law and policy with over 10 years working experience with the public sector. She is currently the Founder and Lead Consultant of Stellar Consulting which specializes in Corporate, Regulation, Public Policy, Information Technology and Broadcasting, Energy, and Real Estate.
She is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the Gambia Faculty of Law and has been lecturing there for over five years.
She holds an LLB (Hons), a BL and an LLM in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law. In addition to her academic qualifications, she is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow.
She also serves as a member in various community based organizations where she mentors young girls and provides guidance on developing personal development skills.
